Worst interview I've had, easily. The interviewer, who would have been my direct manager, was intermittently texting while I was speaking. (No, she was not taking notes because she asked me to repeat what I said to then start texting again). In the moment, I didn't know how to react, as this was a first for me. She gave no apology, nor did she acknowledge her behavior. I relayed my experience to the recruiter, who was apologetic. She passed along my feedback to the manager. Let's just say that after that, I had no interest in working there. I can't imagine working with someone so rude and dismissive on a daily basis and hope whoever was hired for this position is doing ok. This interview stayed with me during future interviews at other companies. I began asking myself questions like, "Is what I'm saying really not interesting at all? Does my experience suck?" Luckily, I'm now working at a great place and am back to healthy levels of self-esteem. Also, I labeled this interview as "very difficult" due to being completely ignored (not because it was hard question-wise).
