I had a video screen with someone in talent acquisition. She seemed nice enough, but it was a major red flag when she kept talking about how the company is based in Israel and asked whether I'd be comfortable with that.
We're both women of color, so I'll let you decide what she was implying about the company.
Naturally, I did not progress to the next round.

Question 1
Our founders and company are based in Israel, so... that's something you should be aware of. Are you comfortable with that?
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yotpo in Aug 2024
Interview
I recently went through a lengthy and rigorous interview process with Yotpo, consisting of five stages. I was asked to complete a task that required a significant amount of my time and effort. During the final stage, I received numerous compliments, with the interviewers praising my research as "straight to the point" and stating that I had done an excellent job and had an amazing energy.
Given the positive feedback, I was hopeful and optimistic. However, a week later, I received a generic email from HR informing me they had chosen another candidate. No explanation was provided, and when I reached out for feedback, I was completely ignored.
I find it incredibly frustrating and unprofessional that a company like Yotpo would waste a candidate's time and hard work without providing any constructive feedback or even a simple acknowledgment. It's clear they don't value the time and effort of the people they interview.
If you're considering applying to Yotpo, be prepared for the possibility of having your time and effort taken for granted.
