The interview process was great. It was challenging but fair. It was a relatively standard interview process in terms of timelines and they did not drag it on too long. The final presentation was a good challenge and taught me a lot about the industry, company and products.
I was scheduled for a first-round interview with the HR representative, but unfortunately, she didn’t show up to our Zoom meeting. I waited for 20 minutes and followed up by email to propose rescheduling later that week, but I never received a response.
After a few days, I reached out to one of the managers on LinkedIn to let them know I had been expecting an interview that day. The manager replied politely, thanking me for my interest and saying they would review my CV, but I never heard back.
I found the experience disappointing. I had invested time researching the company and preparing for the interview, and the lack of communication left a poor impression. For me, how a company treats candidates says a lot about how they treat their employees.

Interview
I was very excited to interview for Yotpo. After my having several positive recruiter meetings with other companies, my experience with this recruiter left me feeling very demoralised.
Firstly, I could tell she immediately made her decision that she wasn't wanting me to proceed me to another round. She began firing questions without giving me any response after each one, which made me feel really uncomfortable and put on the spot, which is saying a-lot as I am usually a very confident interviewer. It felt like everything I said, no matter how good my explanation was, that she simply didn't care. She was extremely dismissive and made me feel inadequate.
A sense of compassion or basic people skills would've been appreciated, given the fact the job hunt isn't easy, which recruiters would be well aware of. Unfortunately, it has now made me quite turned off by this company.
