Was initially head hunted via a 3rd party recruiter. Upon reading the spec, it was unclear what they were looking for with "Digitzation and AI" thrown in as an after thought. I sought clarity from the recruiter who explained that KFC was looking for an experienced HRBP with experience in digitizing aspects of HR. I said that fits my profile and lets proceed. My first and only meeting was with the internal Recruiter who didnt seem happy to be there and seemed to have other places to be. I went through the interview and answered her Digital HR questions in detail, only to be told afterwards that I was not suitable because I was too "AI focused", not senior enough (despite currently holding a global role vs a local one) and that the last time I practiced HR directly was in 2013 (in reality and as per my CV, it was 2021). She didnt seem to like it that I was asking questions to validate what they were looking for and cut me off a few times as I was speaking. Very negative experience and has tainted my perception of the brand as a whole.
