I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ZS Associates in Mar 2012

Very clear communication throughout the interview process. The interview styles were unique to ZS (interviewer has a case pack with different slides, you analyze the info, come up with a recommendation), and designed to test your critical thinking and logical thought process as well as your communication of these thoughts. So case interview prep is helpful, but only to understand what interviewers are looking for in a candidate. Very, very friendly people throughout the interview process though.
I applied through the company website, and about a month later the HR reached out to schedule a phone interview. The interview lasted only around 10 minutes, and two days afterward I was informed that I had been rejected.
Very straightforward process, 1 round of case + a final round of 1 behavioral, 1 structured case, and 1 unstructured case.
I'd recommend brushing up on your brainstorming skills and quick math.

I have only gone through the first-round interview, which was a recorded video format. The interview consisted of three behavioral-based questions, where I was given three minutes to think and prepare my response before recording my answer. Each response had a time limit of two minutes. There was no live interaction with an interviewer, and the entire process was automated.
