Interview
It was a streamlined interview process. It was first a phone screening with recruiter, followed by the first round (30 min. case and 30 min. behavioral). The last round lasts around 3 hours, 45 min. - consists of unstructured case (30 min.) , behavioral (30 min.), structured case (40 min. prep, then 30 min. discussion), then a casual chat with an associate / associate consultant (30 min.), with breaks in between.
The case interviews are not typical - they are heavily based on numbers, except the unstructured case where you are tasked to outline your thought-process on how you would solve the problem. If I can give a tip, truly UNDERSTAND what the structured case question is asking. The case is simple enough if you figure out what the actual objective is. You can use a calculator.
The recruiting team is outstanding! They were quick and helpful, and guided me very well through the interview process.

Being from a tech background they asked me why do i want to shift to consulting role
Smooth and transparent. Technical and manager rounds are mostly constitutes around how you go about a problem/situation, thinking process and execution. Overall, the entire process depends on how you go about it, just need to be confident and cognitively strong with good thinking and problem solving skills
The interview process was condensed to interviews, both split between a behavioral section and case study section. For the case studies they do require you to read many charts and graphs.
