I applied for this position through the company portal.
The entire process comprised of 4 parts-
1)Aptitude-Mini case study-Video interview round
2)Telephonic interview
3)Case study interview
4)HR FIT Interview
The aptitude test was of 45 mins having 40 questions. The level was easy to moderate, with the only catch being time management. If you clear the aptitude, then the portal will redirect you to the mini case stuyd round. Thi round has 7-8 questions(mcqs) based on data interpretation and logical thinking. After that, you will be redirected to the video interview round in which questions will appear on your screen and you will get 10 secs to think about it and record your answer for the next 3 mins. The questions were hr based.
After completed this part, I got a call from the company about 7 days later. They asked me basic questions as to what do I know about zs, and why do I want to join them. They informed me about the next rounds that were supposed to happen after 3-4 days.
The case study round is considered to be an elimination round. You will be provided a case study having 4 main questions and sub parts to some of them. 50% will be based on quantitative logic and the rest on your observation skills and data interpretation. All the questions require the answers that are already available in the case study, so one has to make sure to go through every part of it. Even if you do not have the time to jot down the answers and upload the pdf, simply explain your approach in the follow up interview.
The interview for this round took place after 30-45 mins. All the questions were from the case study itself. They want to know what your approach is. It does not matter if your answers are wrong. This interview took place for about 1 hr. After some time I got a call and was informed about the last round-Hr FIT.
HR rounds of most companies are assumed to be easy as compared to rest of the process. But, in the case of ZS, it can be the most difficult part. Many candidates are rejected in the final round. The interviewer generally ask some puzzles and guesstimates following with questions based entirely on your resume. In my case, I was asked three puzzles-
How many squares are there in a 8x8 chess board?
If a car has 4 wheels and a spare wheel, with each wheel's capacoty being 20000km, how much distance can the car cover if we keep on replacing the wheels from time to time?
An old man wants to divide his will amongst his 10 sons equally. His only assets include 100 cows, such that every cow gives the amount of milk equal to it's number. For ex- Cow no. 1 will give 1 ltr milk, cow no. 2 will give 2 ltrs milk and so on. How should the man divide the cows so that all his sons get equal benefit?
