Applied and was contacted about a week later by a recruiter. Phone screen with them was quick/easy (“walk me through your resume” and then I asked questions), and a virtual super day was scheduled for the next week. Super day included (with breaks in between each):
-Prep call with recruiter the day beforehand, where they walked me through what to expect (and also truly acted as a personal cheerleader)
-30 min behavioral, walking broadly through past projects, typical “tell me about” questions, very conversational
-30 min “structured case”. Kind of like the typical case interview that you’d expect but a bit more hand-holdy. Questions were pre formulated in PPT slides. Included quant, interpreting graphs, etc.
-30 min “unstructured case”. I found this to be the most difficult. It started with a drill down on a previous analysis I did, followed by quick fire theoretical questions about my approach to various (specific) business questions.
Everyone was friendly, we laughed a lot, and even the cases ended very conversationally. All of them gave me a lot of time for questions (in fact, I think all three 30 min sessions went at least ten minutes over even after I respectfully noted we were at time but would love to continue chatting). The offer was a quick turn as well! Heard back within two business days.
