Question 1
I was asked to solve a basic case study on Election campaign. I was given sufficient data to solve the question. The question was : If in 2017 elections, there were 6 parties and you work for BJP(Bhartiya Janseva Party) who is holding the seat of current nation leader. You are given 5 parties their voter percentage turnouts like party 1: 40% party 2: 20% party 3: 25% party 4: 10% party 5:5%. Now in new elections (2024) there enters a sixth party which has now a significant vote share drawn from all other parties and is on the winning route. Table 2 shows how many voter %age has been taken up by party 6 which was earlier being held by other parties: eg. party 1: 40% party 2: 18% party 3: 25% party 4: 22% party 5: 50% now you need to compute that what is the net share of each party in current elections given party 6 has projection of gaining 40% of total votes.
Secondly I was given two graphs where i had to do basic math in order to optimize the budget spent on adertisement. They can be practiced online.
