I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Zayo (Denver, CO) in Nov 2015
Interview
I applied online and through employee referral. I had three interviews at their Denver office with potential team members I would be working with, along with the hiring manager. They all were very friendly and has great insure on the company and their experience. I was told the position required 60+ hours per week at below industry standards. I had a follow up phone interview a week later with another team member. I followed up promptly the following week and was told I was at the top of the pool and expect an offer very soon pending a short phone call with the CFO of the team. I kept in touch with the hiring manager for two weeks and he told me everyone really liked me and that I was at the top of their choice. Still waited three weeks and no offer. Finally I was able to speak with the CFO for this supposed quick phone call, and she grilled me for an hour on my resume and how each of my experiences and educations would make me the more ideal candidate. I was also asked for a step by step analysis of processing quarterly and year end books and projecting out 4 yr performas. It took a multi step very detailed answer taking over thirty minutes. I asked a few of my own questions and thanked her for her time. I followed up with her the following week after no word and she said I eould be contacted by the hiring manager. Two more weeks go by and I finally get a phone call that they are expending the screening process. I had no idea what that meant and asked if i was still going to be getting an offer, and they said be patient. Two weeks more go by and I get an email saying I finally was no chosen for the position with no explanation as to why. What kind of corporation drags along a candidate misleading them for over two months! I would have appreciated a yes or no in a more appropriate time frame and the respect enough for me to move on and not be mislead for over two months!

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Zayo
Interview
The interview lasted about 15 minutes total. Fairly certain the hiring managers had no previous experience interviewing candidates. Were prompt with getting back to me after the fact. There was also an excel test involved.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Zayo in Aug 2014
Interview
I met two employees during the interview. The first one is their staff and the second is the department manager.
The staff asked me some very basic questions and it took about 20 min.
Then, when the manager is available, I was introduced to the manager. She did not ask me any questions, instead she told me the whole how they work, and showed me their paperwork.
