Interview
I was first contacted after my application online by the Program Manager to discuss the opportunity. He informed me of the climate during the transition and what salary they had available. He was also extremely informative about the mission, as he had worked it first hand. Although the level of detail was kept at an unclass level, it definitely got me excited about working there. He also explained the work schedule and how time off worked. Overall he was very informative and helped me understand the opportunity. After I gave him my social to check my clearance, I was scheduled a technical interview with one of the other managers. He also made me very comfortable during the interview and asked several technical, experience related, and personal trait questions to assess my ability to work the mission set. He also provided me the lay down at the end of what would be expected next (security pre screening, Gov't approval of resume). Pretty smooth process overall.

He asked other questions that I cannot remember, but were focused on technical ability with programs used at their site, past challenges, and future goals were touched on.

Interview
Phone call with PM to get info for security verification, discussion on salary offered, requested to change resume to a standard format for Contracting Office hire approval, scheduled for a tech interview, once clearance verified-resume approved-and tech interview completed (positively) was extended the official offer by the HR department. Everything was accomplished through email and phone calls due to me being in another state.

Question 1
A portion of the interview was pretty much explaining the work environment, schedule, and mission set. I believe this was to ensure I had no issues working shift work or being considered as mission essential personnel. Following that were questions on my past experience working in team or high-stress environments and what abilities/traits I had that had or would permit me to succeed. The asked some questions about my past experience (work locations/software experience/and intel prods I was familiar with). Overall there really were not curveballs, they seemed to ensure that I had an applicable background and skill set to be an asset, and tried to make sure I knew exactly what the job would entail (schedule etc.). The PM early on let me know what to expect so that was not a surprise.
