Interview
Honestly not sure what to think of the [short] interview process. The interviewer didn’t ask any hard-hitting questions and I thought the 30 minute call went somewhat well. I would say it was tough to judge my fit with that one call. Here’s what I didn’t like—had to email the recruiter twice to see what was going on. A week in a half later she decides to reply saying they aren’t moving forward, and didn’t bother to reply to my request for some feedback. Whenever that happens it comes across as your time not being valued, and that’s what I expect from a recruiter. Seems like a solid company though, and I would interview again if the opportunity arises.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Zendesk
Interview
5 rounds of interviews including screening and panel. Everyone I met with was very friendly but their process was painfully slow. It would take over a month to hear a response between each step. If you reach out for updates they just ignore you. They are probably endlessly interviewing people for the same roles because by the time they follow up with applicants, the applicants are already working somewhere else. In the end I was ghosted after 5 rounds despite receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback during each round. Not a great experience, especially for a company that sells a product that is supposed to prevent ghosting.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Zendesk in Oct 2024
Interview
Did screening call and interview with hiring manager. Was scheduled for next interviews that got canceled. HR ghosted me. 8 weeks after these interviews, i got a generic automated rejection email.

Have you worked with field marketing teams before?
I applied and then got a call back from their HR to have the initial conversation. I thanked them for reaching out and then asked for a salary range and was then ghosted....for asking if they were in my range.
