I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Zendesk (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2018
Interview
Experience in General:
Interviewing with Zendesk was the worst experience I've ever had.
If you browse the reviews on Glassdoor, you'll find multiple reviews talking about the same points.
Zendesk doesn't respect candidates and deals with them as if they were disposable items. They would interview people, although, as they told me, don't have positions for them.
HR Department:
It took them almost six months to set up the interviews admitting that they have bad internal communications. They don't answer emails and requests, and they depend on some automated messages.
They showed lack of experience during all the process especially in coordinating.
They use superior behaviour, and they're not as humble as HR should be.
The Interviews:
The process consisted of six interviews, which I knew later that I shouldn't have. I was interviewed by the same people multiple times, was asked the same questions at times, and they seemed confused whenever I said I already answered this question.
Two of the interviewers had little-to-no experience and they seemed to ask random questions commenting on what I said.
The coding part was quite easy to complete, but later I got negative feedback claiming things that didn't happen.
The final email (copy and paste from an old email) I got from the HR asked me not to discuss the decision and go try "your luck" somewhere else.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zendesk in May 2021
