Ghosted by Vice President!
Was reached out to personally by the VP (he made sure to state this in the email) after submitting application. VP asked to do an presentation interview in less than 2 days. Was able to complete the presentation and interviewed with two managers. VP had said that they value transparency and that they would provide a result in a week. Followed up with VP to thank him and his team for his time. Followed up again with VP to let him know I was still interested. Never heard from VP again. I do understand that is a wonderful market for VPs to find new talent, but at some point, it would be nice for VPs to understand that the candidates interviewing are people too and put a lot of time and effort to the interview process, just to get ghosted. I would not recommend reaching out to candidates, stressing that you are the VP if the goal is not to communicate with them again after you have gotten what you wanted from them.
The interview process was straight forward. The company wanted to see if you had general knowledge of the solution. If you do not have a software background, it is recommended to watch videos or start a free trial to gain a better understanding.
Many steps, many weeks, long gaps in between interviews, typical interview structure with sales, service, and leadership. My process took place shortly after PE acquisition, so things may be faster now. Typical presentations (navigating an account, past success, etc).
