Horrible. Absolutely horrible.
It started with a phone screening which is standard for that type of job. Following that I was invited to a 5 hour interview which included lunch, a tour of the facility and meeting the heads of the department. I used up the majority of my PTO as I work full-time to attend the interview, but it was an exciting opportunity so I didn't complain.
Following that, I received a request for an art test which is fairly out of place in order of things. Generally it's a phone call, art test, then in-person. The art test seemed immensely unprofessional as they mentioned they wanted me to take one, but hadn't a clue what it would be. Finally they gave me the art test on Wednesday night and asked for it before the end of the week. I used up the rest of my PTO and pulled an all-nighter to get it done in the time frame without sacrificing more time from work.
Up until that point the communication had been decent and quicker than I was anticipating. After that, I heard nothing. I emailed and called with no luck. Finally a month and a half later, I get an automated rejection reply with no reason why. A month process for interviewing, then silence, then no decency for even a small message. I'm very disappointed with the process and the company's standards.
