After completing the first round, I didn't hear from HR for almost a week, so I reached out. Despite attempts to contact her, she claimed to have repeatedly tried reaching me without success. She eventually informed me that I had passed the first round and scheduled a second interview. However, after waiting for her call the next day, I proactively reached out, only to be told she would get back to me. Despite waiting the entire day, I received no call. Upon contacting HR again, she mentioned that the manager expressed a preference for someone more adept in speech for daily meetings. I'm left wondering why I was interviewed in the first place if they had reservations about hiring me.
