The "phone screen" is not just a screening. There were very lengthy and involved questions. The recruiter was late to the call. Then the phone call with the hiring manager was better, did not ask STAR questions. Then had to do an on-site visit for a panel of interviews. The interviewers did not seem prepared, none of them really came with useful questions. There was a lot of silent gaps with them just staring, not asking questions. And a couple of the people I was scheduled to interview with, weren't even at work that day. Recruiter said I'd get an update by the end of the following week. I did not get an update. I waited another week and still didn't hear anything so I had to email the recruiter and immediately got a response saying they were going with another candidate.
