I was contacted by a recruiter on Linkedin then followed by a phone interview with her. During this short phone interview, she tried to ask several trivas about Software Engineering, and Data Engineering. After some time, I was invited to talk 1:1 with the Hiring Manager, which turned out so disappointed. In stead of spending time to introduce about iZettle or getting to know each other. The Hiring Manager kept talking about himself how he works and how luckily the company has him in charge of recruiting. It went from his first day in this career, traveling between countries and then settling in Sweden. He made a couple of examples how he had stopped recruiting some engineers because he did not like them personally. I barely had time to introduce myself and my expectation and so on. Without hesitation I declined to interview with technical team members. Overall, I had bad experience with the Hiring Manager.
