Zettle Product Designer interview questions

I applied online, and had a phone interview with the recruiter. It was interesting and pleasant. He asked about my availability for a next interview with designers. I haven't heard back since then.

Telephone interview with HR was okay and standard, then they gave me a written task to complete. The task was way beyond what should be asked for at a pre-interview stage. They asked me to design a mobile app prototype that should be "ready to test" so with all the screens and interactions in place. I don't think this is a fair thing to ask to be honest. To complete this task and design something with a decent quality in the UI takes some time, which I was not willing to spend for a pre-interview task. So I still designed a functioning prototype with a complete structure and everything, but the visual detail I left pretty basic. If you want to have a look at what I'm capable of, check my portfolio...that's what portfolios are for! I'm not impressed at all and I will never apply for a job at this company ever again. I'm glad I didn't get an offer.
