I was contacted by a recruiter who arranged an interview with me and two supervisors. I was sent a Teams link with no information in the email other than the names of the supervisors. The interview was structured and impersonal. It started with a ~five minute period of them explaining their professional backgrounds, and then me explaining mine. Then it transitioned to a behavioral interview where I was asked six predetermined questions. Their judgement of whether you're a good fit for the role is not going to be based on a discussion about the role and how your experience relates to it. It will be based on your ability to respond to a set of questions that you were not given notice of in the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Response) format.
Interviewees should be informed by the recruiter that they will be going into this type of interview. Especially when it's the only interview.
