I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zirtual (Mobile, AL) in Mar 2015
Interview
You apply online, fairly easy process. You are then sent two tasks. The first task asks you to basically read about their core values and respond to some questions to see how you line up with their ideas. The next task asks you to complete 3 sample jobs, similar to what you might be assigned if hired. I did all of this and they got back to me about a month later asking me to schedule an interview over Google Hangouts. A week later, I had an interview. The first half, about ten minutes, was spent talking about my resume, why I want to work for Zirtual, how it fits with my life, basic stuff. The second half was interview questions.

Interview
This was an online interview via webcam. I completed a number of sample tasks that they screened, and was then selected for an interview. I received an offer by the following evening.
The google hangout was on time, you have exactly 30 minutes with the interviewer because they have others they have scheduled. Overall it was very relaxed. Be sure to have headphones with a mic handy, there's some feedback if not. I went through the whole process only to be put on hold because they pushed back trainee start dates. I'm still in limbo waiting to hear anything.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Zirtual (Las Vegas, NV) in Jun 2015
Interview
The first thing was a skills test, which I passed with flying colors. It was not difficult and anyone with a basic command of the English language should be able to pass. I received an email shortly after asking if i was interested in a phone interview. I did the phone interview within a couple of days then was scheduled for an in-person interview two days after that. I was told during my in-person interview that I was hired!
