I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zoetis (Jersey City, NJ) in Mar 2022
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter who was all excited about my background for this position. So pumped-up I was quickly told the name of the hiring manager to setup an interview immediately. I thought, aren't you going to let the hiring manager first review my resume? No, full steam ahead! What was the hurry?
Afterwards, I looked up the hiring manager's Linkedin profile and was profoundly disappointed. Their background was so sparse and unimpressive lacking in leadership abilities and no real technology. This explained why the job description was a complete mess in conflict with itself. It looked like a job description written by borrowing unrelated information from several other job descriptions. The job description didn't make a lot of sense and the job title was goofy too. I expected high standards for a science based company. I was so unimpressed with whom I would be reporting to, I decided not to pursue this opportunity. So off the mark I am no longer interested in this company, although what they do does sound interesting to me.
