After several phone screens, I was required to provide 5 professional references as a "step" in their process, which turned out to be a huge waste of my references', and my time. During the interview process, the interviewers were often late, and one interviewer did not even know which role I was interviewing for. Ultimately I waited for over 4 weeks for any sort of closure or follow up communication. After repeatedly emailing the recruiter asking for an update again, she finally told me they had already hired someone else. If how they treat their candidates is any indication of how they treat their employees, I am thankful for the rejection.
