I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Zoox (Atlanta, GA) in May 2026
Interview
Series of three tests. The first was a written rules of the road test. It was a general test with a generous time limit. Anyone who drives in the Atlanta area should be able to pass.
Process was pretty smooth and fast. Interviewed and got offer within the same week. Was able to get a referral from one of their partners so that was pretty nice.

Interviewer was nice and just asked about my past experience and technicals skills.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Zoox (Austin, TX)
Interview
I never actually had an interview for the position. I initially reached out via email to apply. At first, they declined, citing my lack of a Texas driver's license. After obtaining one, they responded that it didn't reflect the required three years of driving experience. I then submitted my California license, which, although no longer valid after obtaining the Texas license, still showed my driving history. However, they then stated that I could only work in San Francisco. At that point, I decided to give up. It's clear the administrative team at this company isn't very organized, and based on this experience, I'm not sure I would want to work there.
