I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zscaler (San Jose, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Had 3 rounds in total: 1 with HR, 1 with UX lead and last one with hiring manager. It was 30 minute call with each one and HR helps you through out the process. They are very quick with results.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Zscaler
Interview
It was very practical. More conversation oriented than just Q&A. It went for about 60 mins and 3 rounds. And finally HR round. Interview is short, but HR things might take long.
Very easy interview . Most folks are either not too deep or don’t know lot of technical stuff. Focusing on broader aspects works. Engineers are good but product leaders are so so .
Great interview process; 4 step process involving hiring manager / recruiter / peer / panel. It wasn't very technical, more focussed on strategic initiatives and vision. Overall great experience and I ended up accepting the offer they made the next day.
