I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zscaler (London, England) in Aug 2024
Interview
Positive interaction with recruiter. They warned me of concerns their interview process was not working well at the technical test.
This is where I could tell I would not want to work there. I’ve run many technical tests for similar roles before and never made a candidate feel like they know nothing. They were not interested in my history - just tick box exercise for their questions. If you didn’t know them, then you were out. It’s a bit old fashioned to say the least. The interview process is however a two way street and if they were to be my peers - that I seek advice from, then I was content with not getting any further.
The irony is, the job remains vacant weeks later.
Shame, I’ve friends who work there who speak highly of the workplace culture.

Question 1
Just ensure you know your OSI model and tags for proxy in a pcap. If you are rusty, then they will not be so forgiving.
