2 great phone screens over 4 weeks. Face to face interviews sounded like 2 different jobs with 2 different companies. I did great on phone screens and got blown off in person....could it be how I look? No visible diversity in the work areas I saw, all young, white and mostly male; no blacks in sight. Very rude condscending questions about were my skills up to date? An insult, since I still teach the subject through the UC system. Interview was a waste of time and effort, I should have believed the reviews.
