I got the interview by a referral. They later fired the person who referred me and he was one of the most phenomenal Student Affairs people I know. Also be wary of the feeling you get when you walk in the office. I remember walking in the offfice and everyone looked away when I passed by. People were walking around with their heads down. Don't ignore signs folks - it's just not worth it.

This was my first "panel interview where I was asked to stand in front of a group of not only managers and recruiters but also a group of other people interviewing for the same position and introduce myself with my work history. I was nervous with the on the spot public speaking aspect of it but being prepped beforehand helped and I went in confident and just tried not to think about the other people there for the interview also.
