I applied to the job on LinkedIn through an external recruiter. I was called a few weeks later to schedule and in-person pre-screening with the recruiter. Soon after, I met with an HR Representitive from AlliantGroup. I was told by others they sometimes do a phone interview before bringing you into the office. After leaving that day, the HR rep sent me a personality assessment to complete online. A few days after that, I had another interview with a hiring manager who was very friendly. About a week after that, I was invited back for yet another interview with various people. Immediately after, I was called to schedule a job shadow for the following week. The job shadow was informal and gave a great view into the day-to-day life of someone in the position you're interviewing for. I was also able to ask any last questions I didn't have answered in the interviews. A few days after the job shadowing, I was called and offered a job. The process was long and took about a month, but worth it in the end.
Throughout the process, one of the managers that interviewed me informed me that their selection process is tedious; for about every 10 resumes they receive, they contact 1 person, then from every 10 of those contacted, only 1 person makes it to the next level, and so on.
Don't believe everything you read on here. I was scared at first after reading the reviews, but I made it the whole way through the process and am happy I didn't let glassdoor scare me. If you're serious about starting your career in this type of field, or are at least strongly interested in it, you'll be fine.
