Went in for a combined mixer, with formal interviews after an info session. Had applied the day before and got a call for the event, which, in hindsight, seems like they were merely trying to fill out their soirée. Everyone was friendly enough and very positive, but almost in a cloying, saccharine fashion. I don't believe there were any Project Associates there (the position for which I was applying), but plenty of Project Managers and Directors. I can't say whether they gave a false impression of the work there, but it would have been nice to meet employees working the job I was there for, since that was who I was led to believe would be populating the mixer.
I was the only engineer recruited in my group, with the rest being composed of various business majors. I expected this would be the case and mostly went for the interview experience, and to compare my feel for the company to the glassdoor reviews I had read. There were two or three interviews conducted simultaneously in separate offices, with each interview led by a pair of management employees. I believe my own went fairly well, pretty standard questioning, although I almost felt as though they expected me to lead the process. Overall, a fairly positive atmosphere, with an undercurrent of cultishness that I won't speculate on, for fear of sounding bitter.
