Applied, heard 3 days later to schedule a phone interview. Recruiter called on time. Phone interview lasted 10 minutes. Very short. After my answers, all I would hear is “ok” which made it a bit uncomfortable. She told me I would hear back at the end of the week regarding the next steps. Didn’t hear anything back whatsoever.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at alliantgroup, LP (Houston, TX) in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview process is pretty average they're going to ask why do you feel you should get hired and what is something you didn't like about last your job. I had plenty of questions for them especially after reading all of the terrible reviews online, I wanted to assure any insecurities I had about the role and the company. I was hoping they could reassure me with their answers. They did the opposite and I was glad. I asked them how do they balance work and regular life since it was emphasized that the hours were long. Since they kept emphasizing that as a new hire I would be expected to stay even later to ensure I understood the material (which is not a problem for me) I asked out of curiosity what's the latest they had ever worked. They both gave me very late times and tried to ensure that this was a one-off (contrary to what many reviews state). After the interview, I was informed that I interview well and I would be great for the role but it was obvious that I had an issue with the hours. So if you're desperate for a job, don't mention the hours or ask about it. They're going to know you aren't green.
