I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at alliantgroup, LP
Interview
The first interview process went great but it was a recruiter so they make the company look/sound good. Their job is not to interview you, it's more of getting you ready and what they want you to expect before going to a second interview.
Second time round, I met with the Senior Director and a new HR who was shadowing the director (practice). Let's just say it was the most unprofessional interview I've ever experience. That being said, I made my decision within 3 minutes of the interview. I don't want to work with fake upper management and work like a dog.
Thanks but no thanks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What did you like about your previous job?
What's the culture of your previous job?
What can you bring to this company with the (insert degree) you acquired?
Why this position?
What have you been doing to prepare for this job?
You do one interview online. Mine was with two people via Zoom. Then you do an in-person interview where they will fly you in if needed and it is with one person and you get a tour of the office.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at alliantgroup, LP (Houston, TX) in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview process is pretty average they're going to ask why do you feel you should get hired and what is something you didn't like about last your job. I had plenty of questions for them especially after reading all of the terrible reviews online, I wanted to assure any insecurities I had about the role and the company. I was hoping they could reassure me with their answers. They did the opposite and I was glad. I asked them how do they balance work and regular life since it was emphasized that the hours were long. Since they kept emphasizing that as a new hire I would be expected to stay even later to ensure I understood the material (which is not a problem for me) I asked out of curiosity what's the latest they had ever worked. They both gave me very late times and tried to ensure that this was a one-off (contrary to what many reviews state). After the interview, I was informed that I interview well and I would be great for the role but it was obvious that I had an issue with the hours. So if you're desperate for a job, don't mention the hours or ask about it. They're going to know you aren't green.
