The interview process was 5 rounds and also featured a case study with a short turnaround. A recruiter reached out to me with the position and basically touched base after every round and gave positive feedback. The interviews started in July and ended in October. After the final partner interview the recruiter gave me a verbal offer. Then there was correspondence for the entirety of October where he kept insisting that the offer is on the table but the firm has not specified a on-boarding timeline yet. In my last correspondence he mentioned that the hiring may be done in January. But when I tired to follow up for a written offer in December I found that the recruiter has ghosted me. No response from any communication channel essentially leading me to believe that there is no job offer anymore. Quite frankly it feels like I dodged a bullet as this reflects the firm's culture and acts as proof of their horrible reputation in glassdoor and reddit.
