Tell me about a time you lost a client. Tell me about a time that you failed. Sell me this item **picks something off desk** Despite these very general (yet potential landmine) questions- they want very specified, detailed answers. If you give a vague/safe/general answer they won't accept it and this person was visibly disappointed. When I asked follow-up questions, the hiring manager's response -"Thats a great question - I can't tell you". I sincerely hope you have a different experience, or have exceptional mind-reading abilities.
