Explain the correct solution to the Monty Hall problem, in the spirit of the famed Google challenging questions where people want to see how you reason over hard or tricky problems. While the idea of such a question is, in principle, fine, I thought this specific one was rather unfair as the Monty Hall problem is known to be a textbook case of human inability (for a series of psychological reasons) to properly calculate probabilities, where even some Nobel laureates failed!
