1. Was asked a fixed income security question regarding bond yield rates which I was unprepared for as I prepped for an IB interview. 2. Technical interviewer asked how many valuation techniques I knew and ultimately really dived deep into the mechanics of a Discounted Cash Flow and asked multi-layered questions regarding the inner workings of the valuation technique. 3. Totally unexpected is "why did you leave your country to come to the __ country?" It wasn't a hard question in itself, but something I never thought would be brought up.
