The first case interview question asked how a corporation controlling 5 different businesses could consolidate the businesses. It was very important to ask questions to understand the components/departments of each business in order to reduce redundancies between businesses. It required asking a lot of questions to get more information about the businesses to make a decision. The second interview question was about a company that was going to be sold within 18 months, and it's goal was to increase its value before being sold by reducing the cost of technical support. The interviewer asked how this company should do this, and what the implications those decisions would be.
