Call Center Agent Interview Questions
"Call center agents are masters of communication. Employers are looking for candidates who have superb customer service skills and can communicate clearly either online or over the phone. When preparing for an interview, make sure you are well-versed in the company's operations and main products. You may also be asked to role-play selling a product or dealing with an irate customer."

They asked me nothing. The manager went into the interview with preconceived notions...each one incorrect.
I believe one of the questions was how did I handle my last confrontation, anywhere
Why do you want to work here? What is your experience in Customer Service? Have you ever worked an at-home job? Have you ever worked for a call center before? What hours are you willing to work? They will ask if you are a team player?

The interview is basic and easy. But you have to call first and leave a message with your best phone voice. Also, they want you to be expressive and smile a lot. It's business casual, but they're big on new hires speaking in a friendly tone. Keep your energy high and stay positive. For me, the toughest question was how long I intended to work there, and it came up at the start and finish of the in-person interview with the call center manager. They have concerns about high turnover, but I had concerns about it being "at-will" and I needed the money.
The most unexpected question that was asked of me was " How would I handle speaking with a customer that was extremely upset ?"
In the past, how have you dealt with conflict resolution in a work capacity? Describe a situation where you were able to make an upset Customer happy.
