Got all the standard questions like how would you deny a claim, deal with arrogant attorneys, etc. The question I had no answer for was why I thought this would be an interesting job. The interviewer gave me a good chuckle (on the inside), this young gal had been at the company for all of about nine months and tells me that she absolutely loves working claims. That may be true, but seeing as she started the job a few days after getting out of college, I'm guessing that she didn't know that would be the case ahead of time- not to mention the fact that 6 months into the job she moved into hr recruiting duties. I guess she really really loves recruiting. Nice gal, but not really all that engaging as an interviewer. If 45k is not going to get you excited, you probably should keep looking.
