The targeted selection or "Star" interview style is senseless. It just take away from what really needs to happen....a true interview!
Minutes to airport, experience with patients/ monitoring, define 1572, what is ECOG/ SWOG, describe phases of a trial, how do you measure a solid tumor (note HR should have asked how response was measured in solid tumors!), what does a CRA do, how do you feel about animal experimentation, do you belong to any animal rights groups, why do you want the position, what makes you great for this job.
Regular Questions in the phone screening- the person calling has a long checklist of questions. The person interviewing knows nothing about Clinical Research or Trials abd doesn't understand anything you utter which is beyond the answer checklist of key words he/she has been provided with.
