Questions about my projects listed on the resume. Assume you have a function that generates 1~5 with equal probability, how do you design a function to generate 1~8 with equal probability? How do you find the index of the target number in a sorted array? What if the array is rotated like [3,4,5,1,2]?
Round 1(Telephonic) Pretty much resume based and on testing basics, frameworks,projects worked on etc. Round 2(Telephonic at Accenture office) Focused mainly on coding logics, error handling,testing basics, automation approach.
One tricky question was about load balancing
What do you like about IT. Asked about subnet masks. Asked about handling difficult customer.
Both the 1st and 2nd interviews were very basic. Most of the questions are behavioral type questions. I doubt the interviewers have background in computer science. They don't even understand basic stuffs I explained to them. You don't need to be a computer science professional to answer those questions.
