"When you interview with an ad agency or other business for a copywriting position, the interviewer will ask questions that will determine whether you have the writing skills and advertising knowledge to write material that will help the the agency's clients sell their products. Prepare to present samples of your work and describe the techniques you used to make your material appeal to its target audience. You may be asked situational questions such as how you would use different forms of media to increase the appeal of a product to a range of consumers."

Why are you changing your current job?
Can we reschedule?
The bulk of the interview was when they sat down with me while I talked them through my resume. I was also asked what salary range I was expecting.
They just asked about my writing background, how much/how fast I can write and the quality of my writing. They asked for a link to my portfolio as well.
Are you okay with re-prioritizing constantly?
How do you feel you align with our company's core values?
Most questions were related to my past experience, my bilingual skills, my interest in a position I was overqualified for and the possibilities of upgrading it.
They mostly asked character-based questions. Things like "If you were faced with this dilemma, what would you do?" They were looking for moral and ethical faculties, which I highly respected. I remembered the CEO saying "We can train you to write, but we can't train your character... that part is up to you." She said they hire first for character, and then teach the rest. It was actually awesome.
