Describe me how a DCF works

I was interviewed by two employees. Both asked me behavioural and technical questions. About the former they asked how would you behave in that specific situation... , tell me a time you failed would you prioritize a scheduled meeting with colleagues or a just arrived call by a client? (the meeting is the correct answer), and other questions that I do not remember. About the technical, they ask me: what does out team do, and what are the steps that our team follows when there is a deal (buy side); what is wacc; a method to value a company; in a deal how do you determine the final price; a question about accredition/dilution; in a LBO deal, what are two items that you can act on; and other questions that I do not remember.
