Post the face to face interview/task response presentation, I was asked to send over the presentation deck for consideration. Again, seemed normal - until I visited their website and social channels a couple of months later. While not completely copied and pasted, they were running a campaign that I personally felt was heavily borrowed from the idea that I had presented. Needless to say, I felt used, upset and disappointed, especially as I was an actual fan of the brand itself before applying. Even more annoyingly so, I saw a similar job role posted by them 3 months later - is searching for creatives a way to get fresh campaign ideas? That's the impression I get. I sincerely hope Im wrong, but to be safe, don't send over your IP.
