I was convinced that the "tech guy" has a lack of knowledge or was trying to show himself while attempting to reinvent the wheel under the pretext that it's hard to get approval for a customer to use a specific solution. Can you imagine why all cloud providers are creating the possibility to have the most powerful tools in the market as SaaS within their ecosystem if they offer similar resources? My unique assumption is that it works better and everybody is using it. The challenge itself was not so hard but I really missed the specification of some meaningful goals to be achieved, they asked for some weird tasks on python like searching for files within the filesystem or simulating a farm with multiprocessing.
