Before the final round, I was given a description of a problem that the team would like to resolve. Receiving the description beforehand allowed me to ponder the problem like the rest of the team had. This problem was the focus of a whiteboard discussion with the data science team.
Total hackerrank round(easy level) + 3 round 1st -> Technical with hiring manager (questions on resume, case study to predict CTR, ROC-AUC curve, central limit theorem] 2nd -> With DS Lead [ questions on resume , classification metrics] 3rd -> HR discussion with basic behavioural questions
Experience in microservices and software architecture in machine learning
Take-home assignment (for a few hours) on predictive modelling
I lost the steam due to other negative reviews where interviewees did not have practical experience.
1. Overfitting, underfitting, precision, recall. 2. Tuning hyperparameters. 3. Gradient descent 4. Naive bayes, Pearson correlation coefficient, Hypothesis testing.
In each interview they kept changing the position, but in essence I was asked about hard and soft skills and abilities.
