I had a pretty unusual interview experience, and genuinely hope they read this and find a better hiring firm. I applied for the job and within a day or two was invited for a phone screen with a hiring firm. Considering the person knew absolutely nothing about the job (was unable to answer any of my questions), it was a very intense interview with lots of obscure questions (How are you a thought leader? Tell me about a time you were criticized? What interview question were you hoping we wouldn't ask? What were the first 3 questions of the interview?!!) while giving very limited opportunities to talk about how my past experiences made me qualified. I didn't advance to the next round and the hiring company EMAILED EVERY SINGLE PERSON THEY DENIED AN INTERVIEW TO IN THE SAME EMAIL, WITH EVERYONE COPIED. Mortifying, unprofessional, and potentially cataclysmic for someone's career. I will never apply here because that absolutely astonished me.
