(I don't think they were actually going to contact them, just trying to get you to be honest by associating their name.)

None of the questions were out of the blue but I was expected to read Arabic and talk in it which I hadn't prepared for earlier.
The programming question was more involved than I would have expected for one of these in home tests.
Unexpected: What is the most interesting thing about you that is not on your CV?
Was asked an extremely inappropriate personal question and promptly was pulled out of the process when I did not feel comfortable answering.
