I think the DUI might have an effect on you. To fly to canada you cannot enter the country with a past dui on your record. Just something i heard at an open call. What are some of the other questions on the Video interview?

If you remember you had to answer if you have been arrested and for what. Also you will have to be able to travel anywhere American Airlines flys. I am a flight attendant. I'm sorry you will not pass the background check if that's currently on your records as American flys to Canada.
