I prefer to work alone. I can perform the duties of a task more faster and more efficiently. If the task is big and can't be done by one person, I would rather work with a team. If everyone does his part as well as they could we will finish it well and on time.

Each way has its merits and demerits: 
Working alone would give me more controle over my job but may lack the same sense of competion. Working in a team will miss the controle aspect but may enhance the teamwork sense It  provides more fun (especially if the team know each other long enough to build mutual respect and coping ability)
